At Smith Anderson we are fortunate to enjoy a very loyal workforce which means we have few recruitment needs. We do however have vacancies that arise from time to time and we value applications from hard working, enthusiastic, diligent and dedicated candidates to join our team. Our Production area has a number of different roles and candidates with mechanical knowledge/background are always of interest to us, as are those who have previously worked in the packaging or food services industry. There may be a requirement to work shifts. Our support functions are also key in ensuring we deliver an efficient service to our customers and employees, the support roles typically work standard office hours.

Machine Operators Closing date : 06 July 2018 click here for full info

We currently have positions available for Machine Operators, you will start as a Trainee before progressing to Machine Operator once you have demonstrated competency in the role. This role requires the ability to adjust, set and fine tune the equipment to optimise performance. Candidates should also be familiar and comfortable with working to output and quality targets to ensure delivery of the products in the volume and to quality standard required by our customers. You will be involved in the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and expected to maintain Company Policies and procedures in compliance with Health & Safety, Hygiene and other external regulatory standards.
